Season V, US Cyber Open

June 6th - June 18th, 2025

The US Cyber Open includes two FREE Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.

These are INDIVIDUAL competitions where all ages and every skill level are welcome. If you're interested in cybersecurity and cyber competitions, here's your chance to GET IN THE GAME. Challenge categories include Crypto, Forensics, PWN, Reverse Engineering, Web, and Miscellaneous. Register now to play, show off your skills, earn digital badges that can be used for your social profiles, applications, and resumes, and win prizes (Prizes are for U.S. residents only). Most importantly: We hope you have fun!

BEGINNER'S GAME ROOM CTF
June 6th-18th, 2025

The Beginner's Game Room is the entry-level component of the US Cyber Open and a great place to solve your first challenge(s) or warm up for the hefty competition in our Competitive CTF. Access to the Beginner's Game Room is included in your Season V, US Cyber Open registration. All challenges will be delivered via CTF-d.

COMPETITIVE CTF
June 9th-18th, 2025

The Competitive CTF is for those ready to put their knowledge and skills to the test, whether or not you're in pursuit of a spot on the Season V, US Cyber Team and/ or the US Women's Cyber Team. Rack up points and beat your opponents to the top of the leaderboard. Challenges will range from intermediate to advanced in difficulty, and access to the Competitive CTF is included in your Season V, US Cyber Open registration. All challenges will be delivered via CTF-d.

Season V, US Cyber Team & US Women's Cyber Team Application Deadline

June 18th, 2025 by 3:00pm EST

Athletes interested in pursuing a spot on the Season V, US Cyber Team and/ or the US Women's Cyber Team MUST submit an athlete application by 3:00p Eastern Time on Wednesday, June 18th in order to be considered. The athlete application is a MANDATORY component towards being eligible for either the Season V, US Cyber Team and the US Women's Cyber Team

Season V, US Cyber Combine (Invite-Only)

July 9th - August 31st, 2025

The US Cyber Combine is similar to a sports combine in which athletes undergo a cyber aptitude evaluation, interview with multiple coaches and technical mentors, train weekly in cybersecurity skills via lectures, assignments, and exercises, and compete in advanced CTF scrimmages to build their portfolio for the US Cyber Team Draft.
