Season I US Cyber Team
Entering undergrad, I was sure that I wanted to be an aeronautical engineer. However, I took a programming course during my freshman year and discovered that I really enjoyed it. My university had a cyber competition team that I decided to join around that same time. I quickly realized that I had a passion for CTFs and cybersecurity in general. I started competing during most of my free time and was especially interested in web exploitation and reverse engineering. I wound up changing my original career path and graduated with degrees in Computer Science and Computer and Network Security from the US Air Force Academy. I recently completed my Master's in Information Security at Carnegie Mellon University and am now serving as an officer in the US Air Force and working as a cyber capability developer. I was a member of the first US Cyber Team, and my favorite CTF category is Reverse Engineering.
